Runners can park in several free parking areas within walking distance of the start line, but all spots are first come, first served.

Important Race Day Arrival Information

There is plenty of parking available downtown, but much of it is located near the race course. Please plan ahead, allow extra time for race-related road closures and traffic, and take note of where you park so you can easily find your car after the race.

We recommend arriving no later than 6:00 AM to allow ample time to park and make your way to the starting line before the race begins. Please remember that the races will start promptly at 7:00 AM (Full & Half) and 7:20 AM (10k & 5k) and will not be delayed due to traffic or parking issues.

If possible, consider carpooling or arranging to be dropped off to help reduce traffic congestion around the starting area.

Road Closures: Road closures near the start line will begin at 6:45 AM, except for Glenwood Ave, N West St., and Johnson St., which will close at 3 AM). Roads near the starting area may close earlier than scheduled at the discretion of the Raleigh Police Department to ensure the safety of all participants. Please plan your arrival accordingly and allow extra time for traffic and road closures.
