Beneficiaries

REX HealthCare Foundation

UNC REX Healthcare springs from one man’s single act of generosity. More than 175 years ago, John Rex, a tanner by trade, acted on that desire to lift up his fellow man by making a bequest. Gifts to Rex Healthcare Foundation have aided thousands of patients and families since our founding more than half a century ago.

Where there is a need, community support bridges the gap with essential programs and services, education and symposia, technology, and major capital expansion. When a patient needs a breast biopsy or a ride to get treatment, a nurse is inspired to further her skills, or a child with a gravely ill parent needs comfort, the Foundation provides that missing puzzle piece of support.

When there is an opportunity to bring life-saving advances in medicine to our region, we foster the philanthropy that transforms a dream into a reality. Your donation makes that reality happen! Visit https://rexhealthcarefoundation.com/ to learn more.
