Parking Update
Race-day parking on N.C. State University's Centennial Campus is available in any university-owned parking lot as well as on the Venture Center parking deck near the start/finish line. Parking is also available along Varsity Road outside the campus entrance.
Use one of the three main entrances to Centennial Campus:
- From downtown Raleigh and points east and south of campus:
Take Centennial Parkway to either the Crump Road entrance or the Oval Drive entrance to campus.
- From points west and north of campus:
Take Varsity Drive and Avent Ferry Road to the Varsity Drive entrance to campus.
Be sure to arrive by 6:00 a.m. to secure a good parking spot and avoid traffic.

Sony Ericsson's Cell Phone Recycling Drive Returns
Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications is bringing its cell phone recycling drive to race weekend. By bringing your old wireless phones, PDAs, or any wireless phone batteries or accessories to the visitRaleigh.com Health & Fitness Expo for recycling, you can help preserve the environment AND support the race's beneficiaries.
Sony Ericsson will donate the net proceeds generated from the recycling of collected devices to the beneficiaries of the event.
To participate, drop off any used wireless phones, PDAs, phone batteries or accessories at Sony Ericsson's booth at the visitRaleigh.com Health & Fitness Expo during expo hours:
- Friday, October 31 — 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, November 1 — 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
